Purpleheart wood cut into hexagons with edges finished with gold leaf. Purpleheart wood is unstained, showing its natural color, it my darken over time with sun exposure though it is coated with UV protection to minimize color change. Lightweight, hung from stainless steel leverbacks with a few copper rings. Stainless steel should be ok for sensitive ears.
